CEC/CCIC – Conselho Empresarial do Centro
The CEC – Business Council of Centre [Conselho Empresarial do Centro] / CCIC – Chamber of Commerce and Industry [Câmara de Comércio e Indústria do Centro] is a non-profit Association, founded in 1993, representative of the Business Associations of the Centro Region in Portugal.
CEC/CCIC aims at homogeneous and sustained development, study, protection and promotion of business and the socioeconomic interests of the Centro Region by promoting the unity, cooperation and representation of their business associations and other organisations which integrate it, as well as the networking with the various players, public and private, regional, national and International, in pursuit of its purposes. 41 Business Associations of Portugal’s Centro integrate its associative network; The CEC/CCIC represents, therefore, more than 40 thousand companies. As Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Câmara de Comércio e Indústria), status recognized by the Decree n.º 280/97, of April 28th, the CEC/CCIC seeks to contribute towards the internalisation of the Centro region’s economy, promote and simulate business relations.
AEDCP – Associação Portuguesa para o Cluster das Indústrias Aeronáutica, do Espaço e da Defesa
AED Cluster Portugal (AEDCP) is the Portuguese Cluster of the Aeronautics, Space and Defence Industries. Created in 2016 as a private not-for-profit association, AEDCP promotes and executes initiatives and activities boosting the competitiveness, innovation and knowledge transfer on behalf of the players of the three sectors.
AEDCP aims at promoting international cooperation with the purpose of increasing R&D, cooperation projects, turnover, exports and qualified employment. AEDCP presently gathers 60 Portuguese entities from large industry, small and medium-sized enterprises, research institutes and technological centers.
